Hi,
this is a very nice collection of tool and I will check some of those I did not know yet.
Besides GTD I started collecting concrete time saving tips that help gaining an extra hour every day. By now I collected about 200 concrete tips that can be applied at home, at work or on the road.

Poojan: Thanks for commenting on my blog! Most of the web services I use have a local copy on at least one of my most used computers. Those computers are connected with Mozy for offline backup. The Evernote post is coming soon.

Hi, Fokke. I was wondering: how do you back up? You use a lot of different web services. How do you get an independent copy of each?

James, thanks for the warning. I should have made that a bit more clear in the post. And yes I do have a local backup of practially all online stuff. Consider me a bit paranoid on safeism Fokke

Just a word of warning. You have your mail, calendar and docs all reliant upon your Google log-in. I know from personal experience that if that is hacked you can be without access to all of these for around 3 months. I really would recommend a local back-up, especially of the initial invite and confirmation emails from Google.

Hi Fokke – Evernote seems to be an important component of your system. How about a post detailing HOW you use it for tasks/lists/notes and managing projects. I’ve played with Evernote a bit, but found it a bit too free-form for my taste and would be interested to learn how others apply it as more than just a repository of images and data. Thanks. Steve
